My Sexy Revolution Starts NOW

"Miss meron pa bang sizes ito?"

"Naku one size na po yan mam."

"Oh I see, sige try ko itong lahat, fit ko lang bibili naman ako (I have 4 dresses with me even if allowed are only two)"

I headed immediately on one of the mall's dressing room, while there were a lot of people waiting for their turn.

"Ano po mam kukunin nyo na po ba?", the saleslady asked me because I am already 10 minutes inside the dressing room.

I want to cry at that moment.  Too many questions going on my mind and things bothering me:

-I damaged one the the dress' zipper.  What am I gonna do?
-Not even one of the dress fits me (I thought it would because most of the time ONE SIZE FITS ALL and all of the dress I got looks bigger. (it was actually the biggest on that section).
-What 'em gonna tell the saleslady?  Jeez.
-Can I handle this situation in front of a long queue expecting that i would get these stuffs I just tried? (Even just one)?

Honestly, I just dunno how to react at that very moment.  Mind you, this is the very first time that I have experienced such situation and it was really AWFUL T_T

"Uhmmm miss can I have a basket, I'm gonna get 2 of this and will look for more."

"Sige po ma'am ikukuha ko po kayo, next in line please..."

You know what I did?  I ran away. :/  Pagkakataon na eh.

Robin hood on the making?

No.

A chubby barbie doll on the spotlight.

CONFESSIONS ABOUT THE PAST

I was born skinny (eeerr as in parang sticks sa payat).  In fact,  during my childhood days, my mom has been trying her best to cook the best and nutritious foods because I looked like malnourished.

On my teenage years, I still have the same figure. I was underweight that time and I kept on looking for ways how to get fat (I envied my classmates with a slender figure) and even resorted from taking OTC Vitamins to Bee Pollen supplements, etc. But none of these things worked.

WHATTA?!?!?
I LOOKED LIKED AN ALIEN HERE LOL
(I intentionally covered my face here :p)

I went to college, still I am having the figure of 22 waistline. @_@

I worked as a secretary in a Japanese company, still my figure is 23 waistline.

Year 2007,  I started taking CHINESE MEDICINES (LIN TZI?!?)  I can't remember the exact name but it aims to make a person fatter by making a person's metabolism slower.  Likewise it will make you eat 5 big meals a day (can you imagine that?) and it works! This is where it all started, I gained weight, reaching my most slender weight (53-55 kls) with vitals of 36-24-34.  Maybe that's one of the reasons why my hubby got hooked on me haha.

But when I started dating my ex-boyfriend (hubby ko na kase hehe), you know, we frequently eat outside, most of the time, fast foods. Both of us loves to eat.  From then, I started noticing some quick changes on my body:

BIGGER THIGHS AND A ROUNDER FACE
(caught in the act - eating ice cream lol)

By 2008, when I got married and conceived a baby, I was put on a total bed rest because of high-risk pregnancy. For 9 months my duty is only to sleep and eat.  But the bad part of it, I am eating foods that are greasy with empty calories especially on my 6th month pregnancy onwards.  My OB even thought that my baby was so big but then found out that it was only me who was fat.

Twenty-ten, this is me (after a year of taking contraceptive pills plus eating big meals and midnight snacks of junk foods):

OH-EM-GEE!!! T_T
(154 lbs)

I started complaining on frequent stomach aches and of course, being overweight. This is when I have decided to change my diet.

CONFESSIONS ABOUT MY REALIZATIONS

I started at 154 lbs.

My blog post about my decision: Read HERE

As expected, usual problems arise in the process of dieting:

November, 2010- I started cooking healthy recipes since I can't resist eating.
Read HERE.

But dieting requires a lot of hard work and determination.

Frequently I was caught on the situation where I lost track on my diet (because of my baking and cooking), and goes back on my usual eating habits.  After a certain period of time, decides again to go on a weight loss. As you can see, the problem is clearly seen - on on off diet for the past 2 years:

WEIGHT GRAPH FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS

MY WEIGHT TRACKER

If you could notice, I have this "day on, day-off diet which I believe is bad for my health. I just learned that this kind of diet affects the mortality rate of a person as well as his/her insulin levels *scary*.  Read HERE.

Worst, I even resorted on taking slimming coffees and diet/appetite suppressant pills (without actually dieting) because of desperation.  And the result, weight rebound. (FATS - "It's revenge time bwahahaha")

MANIFESTATION OF MY DESPERATION - NO PAIN ON LOSING WEIGHT

Nothing works effectively for a longer period of time.

CONFESSIONS ABOUT THE PRESENT

Just recently I decided again to go on dieting:

REASONS?

-I am always having a stomach ache and afraid to have a colon cancer
-Eczema
-Pimples
-most of my office wardrobe I just bought last November were already out of the closet.
-other health issues I might experience
-can't wear swimsuit comfortably
-so hard to look for a cheaper dress that fits me.
-tired of seeing my bulky figure.

I am currently on my no rice diet in the morning and evening with occasional exercise since April 23 this year.

CONFESSIONS ABOUT MY DILEMMA

But the problem still lies:
Even if I shed those fats, still my body will have these ugly cellulites and saggy skin which I believe affects in achieving a toned, flawless and perfect figure.

ANG LAKAS BA NG LOOB?  I miss wearing 2 piece bikinis :(

REVELATIONS OF THE SEXY SOLUTION

So timing I saw this contest from SEXY SOLUTIONS.

I wanna win this for me to help manage my weight loss and I consider this goal as my stepping stone to fully live in a healthy way of losing weight with proper diet plan from a certified nutritionist.

I wanna bring back the old days, where I CAN FLAUNT MY BODY during the summer outings and don't have to worry on those "cellulites" and flabby/loose skins.  I AM TIRED OF WORRYING on how would I look like when I wore something.  I WANT TO LIVE HEALTHY and LOSE WEIGHT without depriving myself.  Most of all, I AM TIRED OF PRETENDING that the dresses I fit on malls would actually fit me. *sniff*

I wanna lose weight not because someone asks me to do it, or because I want the person to like me, but because I love myself and I AM TIRED OF BEING FAT.   This alone explains everything.

For the record, I am 134.2 lbs to date from the time I started this April:

MY SEXY REVOLUTION STARTS NOW!

So I am calling this one a huge challenge for me, to be the BIGGEST LOSER (of fats) with a perfected toned body ^_^   I want to reach that point where people would actually think I am only on my 20's. SOYAMI BLOGGER's NIGHT & AWARDING

Blogging community is indeed fun, especially when it's all about health and dining.  It was 25th of January when hubby and I were invited on a blogger's night with SOYAMI.  The event was hosted by Mr. Mark Nelson, endorser of SOYAMI Soya Chips and a former AMAZING RACE ASIA contender.
(From left: Marc Nelson, Apple Rosales of Soyami)

It was a night full of fun, prizes, dining and tips!!! You heard it right peeps. ^_^

There was also a raffle for all the bloggers who attended the said event (They have given away USBs, Tshirts, Water and Magazines). Unfortunately, I didn't get anything haha!

Tourne, Fitness First, FaceOne, Tree Hugger and Fruit Magic were the major sponsors during the event, promoting health and wellness and inviting us to think PINK and live GREEN.

Chef Sandralyn Hataway, the person behind TOURNE (located at the Fort Strip, BGC) Restaurant, together with Ms. Apple Rosales' SOYAMI Soya Chips, created a delectable, mouth-watering and healthy dishes as the highlight of the night!
